Warren F Smith

Warren F.X. Smith, age 86, passed away on August 19, 2019 after residing at Riviera Health Resort in Coral Gables since 2012. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Smithtown, NY on Long Island to raise a family and practice law from 1962 until 1980. At that time, he and his wife, Colette moved to Lauderdale by the Sea, FL and opened a restaurant called New York, New York in Pompano Beach. They later moved to Terra Mar Island in Pompano.

Warren is predeceased by his daughter, Margie and son, Warren Jr., a former Miami-Dade County attorney. In addition to his wife, Colette, Warren is survived by his daughter, Pamela Smith Rodriguez of Miami, son, Arthur J. Smith of Lake Worth, FL, son-in-law, Carlos J. Rodriguez, daughter-in-law, Cathleen Fox, daughter-in-law, Missy Smith and 4 granchildren: Carlos J. Rodriguez, Jr., Carolina Rodriguez Dickson, Kevin A. Smith and Ryan T. Smith. Donations to the American Parkinson Disease Assocation (APDA) in his name are welcome.
