VIRGINIA EASTERLIN NORWOOD
May 18, 1930-May 13, 2018
I Corinthians 15:57 “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
A graduate of Miami High, Class of 1948, Ginny was famed for her incredible drum majorette skills
with University of Miami's  "Band of the Hour." A proud member of the Delta Zeta sorority throughout her life, she was a huge Miami Huricannes' football fan. she was a beloved wife to Rev. Merrill L. Easterlin for thirty-seven years and to Mr. Robert R. Norwood for thirteen years. She leaves behind her devoted loved ones: son, John Howard Easterlin of New York, NY and daughter, Janet Easterlin Wright, J.D. of South Miami, FL; son-in-law Robert Turner Wright. Sr.; grandchildren: Robert Turner Wright, Jr., Ph.D., ("her Robby"), Ainsley Virginia Wright Bjernegaard, (“her namesake and lookalike”), husband Sebastian Thomas Bjernegaard, and Anne Elizabeth Wright, (“her ballerina”). Ginny has come home into the arms of Jesus and lives because He lives. She lives because He lives. She love because He first loved us.  She has "arrived."
