Thomas Owen Morgan was born, February 20, 1968, at The Little Company of Mary Catholic hospital in Blue Island, Illinois. He spent the first 10 years in Blue Island and moved to Miami, Florida in 1978 where he resided for the remainder of his life.
Thomas graduated from Miami Southridge Senior High School and was awarded several trophies and honors for playing baseball with the Spartans. Tom’s love for the game encouraged his desire to volunteer for several years as a softball coach for the local youth softball program.
Thomas went on to earn his Associates degree from The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. Tom entered the insurance industry where he secured several licenses and certifications and became a successful financial planner.
He is survived by his mother, Marion D. Morgan, father, Lewis S. Morgan, his two sisters and bother’s in law, Mary and Joseph Petras and Kimberly and Jeffrey Rowe; Nieces; Nicole Donastorg, Alexandria Petras, Dannielle Petras, Ellen Morgan; Cousins; Jenifer, Richard Jr., Richard III., and Heather Roy; Brian, Pilar, Antonella, and Landon Boothe, as well as numerous friends.
Services will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home, 10545 S. Dixie Hwy, on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Father Daniel of Holy Rosary St. Richard Catholic Church will officiate.
The Family will receive friends and loved ones at 6:00 pm and services with commence at 7:00 pm.
