Theodore Budowski

Theodore Budowski passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side. He arrived at Ellis Island on the Ernie Pyle Ship on February 18, 1947 and later graduated from Miami High in 1954 where he was a member of the orchestra and played the violin. He went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960. On August 7, 1965 he married Karen Bryan. Ted worked as a mechanic for Eastern Airlines for 25 years and was a member of the Senior L.I.F.T. Center. He was a life- long member of the Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and served on the Parish Board. He is survived by his wife, Karen of 53 years; daughter Deborah Stoler (Richard); son Douglas Budowski (Brenda); Grandchildren Ryan and Rachel Stoler and Brandon Budowski; brother, Walter Budowski (Kathleen) and nephew, Derrick Budowski. He also leaves behind his two God children, Marta Diaz and Hugo Ortiz.

Viewing will be held on Friday 12/28/18 from 10:30-11:30 am with services beginning at 11:30 am at Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, 16601 NW 77 Court, Miami Lakes, FL 33016. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Church in Theodors’ name.
