Teresa Marie Azrack, a long-time resident of Pinecrest, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017. Born on June 22, 1927 in  Lynn, Massachusetts to Effie and Richard Carlin, Teresa grew up in Swampscott and was one of 5 children.  
Teresa started her career at Hertz, in Boston, and in 1965 she relocated to South Florida seeking a warmer climate. Teresa met the love of her life, Fred Azrack, in Miami that same year, and the two were married in Swampscott, Massachusetts in June 1966. The couple enjoyed 37 years together before he passed away.
Teresa throughly enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends. She had a true love of life, and life loved her in return, blessing her with her daughter, Melissa Marie and granddaughter, Emerson. The joy of her life was being a mother and grandmother.
Teresa was a devout Catholic, and was honored to travel to Rome to meet Pope John Paul II, a trip she recalled often.  As a member of the Marian Center Auxillary Board, Terry was passionate about their mission to educate, train and serve people with disabilities.

Viewing will be at Stanfill Funeral Home on Tuesday January 2nd, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at Epiphany Catholic Church,8235 SW 57 Avenue on Wednesday January 3, at 11 am.
