Robert E. “Bob” Neese

Robert E. “Bob” Neese, age 79 of Palmetto Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Corinne M. Webb and son, Benjamin “Ben” Neese of Nashville, TN. He was predeceased by his son, Robert “Bobby” Neese; his parents, Ben and Helen Neese; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Schaefer and Jack Webb. He is also survived by the family who loved him so very much: his sister, Janet Schaefer and his brothers and sisters by marriage, Marianne and Scott St. Clair, Larry and Sandy Webb, and Terry and Beryl Webb; his nieces and nephews, Rob and Wendy Schaefer, Dawn Leckness, Sarah and Adam Corbett, Sandy and Mike Volchko, Sean and Alison St. Clair, Kally and Stuart Punger, Meghan Webb, Gregory Webb, Bridget and Ben Alsop, Irene and Kyle Erickson, Kyle and Taylor Webb, Lindsay and John Reifsnyder, Cory and Jaime Webb, Chelsea and Jay Fitzgibbons, John and Tiffany Webb, Donald and Emily Webb, and Melissa Webb; and thirty-seven grand nieces and nephews.
Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country for four years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and member of the local chapter of the American Legion. After his honorable discharge from military service, he earned his baccalaureate degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Professionally, he served as an auditor at JC Penny and held several business and financial positions in higher education. Bob was an accomplished woodturner and a strong advocate for, and contributor to, assisting those in need.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM at Stanfill Funeral Home, 10545 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to honor Bob’s life by performing a “Random Act of Kindness” for someone in need.
