Robert "Bob" Birdwell

Bob was born in South Miami, Florida. He loved sports, was an excellent swimmer and most of all, Bob loved to boat and fish. He was an employee with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department for almost 30 years. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed creating happy times.

Above all, Bob adored his family! As we celebrate his life, please keep memories close and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Survived by his lovely wife, Maria; daughter, Kristi, her husband, Juan and three grandchildren; son, Robert III; mom, Ruth; an aunt, an uncle, numerous cousins and many, many friends.

Visitation from noon - 1pm with a service beginning at 1pm at Stanfill Funeral Home.
