Richard Earl Pillifant

pRichard Pillifant died on May12, 2018.  He was born on March 13, 1925 to Alice Tunnigan Pillifant and Samuel Pillifant.  Richard served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He was employed as lead mechanic for Eastern Airlines for 15 years and was a member of the Elks Club in Miami.  He was married to the late Muriel Poole Pillifant.  His siblings, Marion Carrigan, Samuel Pillifant and Robert Pillifant predeceased him.  He is survived by his daughter,Judith Pillifant; granddaughter, Jennifer Wright-Farkas;grandson, Jason Moghari; niece, Joan Attwater; and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Devon, Ryan and Sophia.  He is also survived by his beloved dog, Lucy.  Richard viewed his neighbors as family, and special thanks go to Mary, Adrian, Jim, Rudy and several healthcare providers. Memorial Gathering from 4-7 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Stanfill Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 5PM.
