SIMPSON, PERCIVAL A.
of Miami, Florida and Santiago, Chile passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018. Percy was one of three children of Harold and Ana Rosa Simpson. He was born in the small town of El Cristo in Oriente Province in Santiago, Cuba. He met his beloved Pilar Serrano, in Chile and together they traveled the world.  They were blessed with two children, James and Gloria and four grandchildren.  Son James and Sisi Simpson have two children, Juliet and Camila; Daughter Gloria and Wright Scott have two children, William Wright and Gloria Helen. Percy was very much loved by friends and family alike. A mining engineer by profession, Percy was known for his warm personality, his love of family, his sense of humor and generosity of spirit. In addition to his children, Percival is survived by his siblings Neville and his family: Nancy, Alyssa and Douglas; Harold Frank Simpson of Costa Rica, his wife,  Gres and daughter Greta; Annabelle and her husband, Wayne, and cousins Juan Ignacio and Teresa  Gonzalez Gracia and their children Ignacio, Lindsay, Cristian and Macerena as well as Pedro,  Rafaela,  Ralph Galera and Susana Mehle Galera. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30th from 5-9 pm at Stanfill Funeral Home.
Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 31st at 10 am at St. Louis Catholic Church 7270 SW 120 Street in Pinecrest.
