Pedro Leon Ravelo

April 11, 1950 ~ March 21, 2023 (age 72) 72 Years Old

Tribute

Peter Ravelo passed after 72 years, leaving behind his wife, Mariela, their 2 daughters Tatiana & Miriam and 2 sons Pedro Alejandro & Pedro Pablo, son in law, Tito Salas, daughter in law, Christine Lizardo, son in law, Edward Kohn and six grandchildren, Gabriela Sofia, Alejandro Jose, Pedro Ignacio. Sarah Valentina, Camila Sofía & Alessandra Sofía.

Born in Havana, Cuba, he was the first of four children of Pedro Manuel (Yeyo) and Delia Catalina (Yeya). Peter enjoyed all types of sports but was an avid fanatic of baseball, with his favorite team being the New York Yankees. He was a family man, and man of God and attended St. Louis Catholic Church in Miami. One scripture that best summarizes him is Psalm’s 23:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

As a husband, father, and grandfather, we will miss his loving wisdom, humor, faith, and love.
