Oscar Jubis

Oscar Jubis died peacefully on April 22, 2022 at 93 years old, three weeks shy of his 62nd wedding anniversary.  He was born in El Salvador and has lived in Pinecrest, Florida since 1978.  Oscar was a devoted husband, beloved father, doting grandfather and a true friend to many.  He was a humble man of great integrity with his feet firmly planted on the ground.  He brought joy and laughter to everyone.  He was generous, compassionate and used humor to put people at ease.  He was a loyal friend, an amazing storyteller, and a disciplined man as he did not miss a day of working out since the Korean War until just three months ago.  Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Magda, and his children, Oscar E, Rolando, Lisette (Eli), Eduardo (Vanessa) and Marisa.  He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Dylan, Sabrina, Luna, Matthew, Kalina, Catalina and Kai.  We are incredibly grateful to have been blessed with his presence in our lives.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The American Cancer Society at
