Nicholas Karousatos, 60, passed away on May 8, 2018. Nick was born on January 15, 1958 to Fotis and Anne Karousatos, in Washington DC. and moved with his family to Miami, Florida when he was 6 years old. He attended Palmer Prep High School graduating in 1976. Growing up in Miami, Nick enjoyed tennis, loved boating, cars and most of all cooking. Nick was happiest when he was entertaining and cooking for others. An avid Gator fan, Nick graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor of Science in Food and Resource Economics. He turned his passion for food and culinary skills into a career focused on product development, menu management and marketing for several corporations including Burger King, Marriott Hotels, Arby’s, Cracker Barrel and Sonic. Nick’s career led him from Miami to Nashville, TN where he met the love of his life, Natalie Walker and married in 1999. They moved west to Oklahoma City where they lived for the past 19 years. Nick loved model building, which led him to his last adventure as owner of a Hobbytown franchise. He is predeceased by his father, Fotis. Nick is survived by his wife, Natalie, daughter Laurel, Mother, Anne, brother, Jim (Becky), sisters Penny (Dan) and Vicki (Jim), sister-in-law Carol (Steve), nephews, Kris, Kyle, Stephen, Matthew, Andrew, Jonathan and nieces, Grace and Christina. Nick is also survived by his uncle, Dr. William Catacosinos from Mill Neck, NY and numerous cousins.
