Merry Jayne Hoak

Merry Jayne Hoak, 75, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed peacefully on July 26, 2018.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Hoak, her three children, Robert, Jayne, and Matthew Hoak, and her grandson Justin Hoak.  Merry Jayne was born on May 1st, 1943 to Eileen and Harold Vesper in Buffalo New York.  Merry Jayne moved to Miami in 1973, and enjoyed a long career working for the Girl Scouts of America.  She played an active role in her children’s school, scouts, and the Our Lady of Holy Rosary Parish.  Merry Jayne enjoyed an active life, and a real passion for gardening and her orchid collection.  She was a loving wife and mother, and will be forever missed.  A funeral mass will be held at Holy Rosary St. Richard Catholic Church on Monday July 30th at 10 AM.  In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Rosary St. Richard Parish, 7500 SW 152nd Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157.
