Marvin J. Bondhus, age 71, long time resident of South Miami, Florida passed away unexpectedly on
January 14, 2018. Born on May 24, 1946 in Estherville, Iowa and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Dr. Bondhus graduated from the University of Colorado Medical School and arrived in Miami
to complete his internship and residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He has been a practicing Urologist in South Miami for 35 years. He is survived by his wife Kathy,
son, Captain Erik Bondhus ( Chrystal Bondhus,) and daughter Noelle Bondhus. He has a granddaughter
Harlow Sutton Bondhus. Beloved brother of Joann Bondhus and Barbara Bondhus Gibbs ( Paul Gibbs.)
Special brother-in-law to Dianne Wides Sandberg. Fond Uncle to Cristina Bondhus, Anna Bondhus,
Suzanne Stults (Doug Stults,) Kimberly Stewart ( Scott Stewart,) Jon Wides ( Dorcie Wides.)
Great Uncle to Mia and Bella Bondhus, Kieli and Taylor Stults, Austin and Andrew Criss and Emily Ann
Stewart. He was admired and respected by family, friends, associates and patients.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at 9:30 am at St. Augustine
Catholic Church, 1400 Miller Road, Coral Gables, Fl.
