Louis F. Petrillo passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 14, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, He attended Lafayette High School and excelled in finance and baseball. This is where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Lucy. He worked his way up the corporate ladder of the banking industry and moved his family to Miami in 1976. He received his MBA from University of Miami and continued to work as a CEO at multiple banks until his retirement. He was the regional chairman of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and participated in various other community organizations. He had multiple other business endeavors and was a success in anything he pursued. He is survived by his children, Dr. Linda Petrillo (Lugannys), Louis Jr. (Susanna), Steven (Cora) and his two beloved grandchildren, Alexa and Jake. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be remembered for his strength, brilliance, generosity and humor. His perseverance, grit and determination will always live within us. We are comforted in knowing that he is now at peace with his wife and loved ones. He will always be in our hearts and minds. Although he is not with us, the love for him remains. Visitation will be from 5-9pm on Wednesday, 4/11 at Stanfill Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11am on Thursday, 4/12 at Holy Rosary-St. Richard Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery.
