Louella Walker Atkinson

Atkinson, Louella (Walker), age 87, longtime resident of Miami, was granted her angel wings on August 25th, 2020. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her memorable life.
She was born in Adel, Georgia and moved to Miami in her late teens. She spent her life working tirelessly to provide opportunities for her children and grandchildren who were her greatest loves.
No matter how difficult the circumstance or how sick she was, she was always determined and maintained her strength of character. When anyone else would have broken, Louella stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
She is survived by her three children, two step-children, 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. As a result of the limitations due to Covid-19, a private Memorial Gathering and Service will take place from 6-8 PM on Thursday, August 27th.
