Keetou Chin-Sang

Keetou Chin-Sang passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2020, with the love of his family surrounding him, after a long, hard-fought battle with lymphoma. Keetou was 65 years old. He was born on October 11, 1954 in Clarendon, Jamaica to Yuen Keow Cheung and Joseph Sang. Keetou is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jane, his children, Meredith and Joshua, and beloved dog, Chloe. His passing leaves an incalculable loss in their lives. He is also survived by siblings Keesing Chin-Sang, Susan Thé, Naomi Lyn, Keemin Chin-Sang, and Sybil Resposo.

Keetou loved food, family, and fixing things. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a contractor for many years until the onset of his illness. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, and uncle. He had an infectious laugh and was known for his candidness, playful sense of humor, and tireless work ethic.

In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made in Keetou’s memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  A viewing will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at Stanfill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.
