Joseph Rodrigue

Brother Norbert Rodrigue FMS, 97, a member of the Marist Brothers of the Schools for 79 years died November 13, 2019 at the Marist Brother’s residence in Miami.  He was born February 17, 1922 in Lowell, Massachusetts. His years as a Marist Brother were spent in ministries in Massachusetts, New York, Illinois, Oregon, Florida, Puerto Rico and Liberia. He spent many summers in Mexico teaching English to the young Marist Brothers.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Dorilda Rodrigue.  Norbert was the last surviving sibling of eighteen brothers and sisters. Norbert is survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2019 a viewing will be held at St. Richard Catholic Church at 7500 SW 152 Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157 from 6:30PM to 7:15PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:30PM.
Burial will take place at the Marist Brother’s Cemetery in Esopus, NY.
