BIONDO, Joseph of Rochester, NY lived in Miami for the last 45 years. A Coast Guard veteran of WWII, one of “The Greatest Generation.” He was a successful builder, contractor and an unusually young spirited 96 year Italian gentleman. An extraordinary husband to Lois, the love of his life for 70 years - together they had two children, Janice Quinn of Atlanta and Jerry (Maddy) of Miami. They lived to dance at the weddings of their five grandchildren, Garrett (Karoline), Brandon (Rebekah), Heather (Michael), Clinton (Elizabeth) and Brian (Heather) and watched them all thrive in successful professions. He was also extremely proud of his adorable eleven great grandchildren.
Joe, a brilliant man who lit up the room by his mere presence, was the attraction that held and captivated everyone with his great cooking, energy, zest for life, coupled with his stories filled with wisdom and humor. He will be missed by so many but inspires us as an example of how to live a wonderful life “his way.”
The funeral will be held at 11am Wednesday, 10/25/2017 at Stanfill Funeral Home with visitation from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Autism Speaks or the TearsFoundation.org/HarperQuinn
