Jose F. Suris

Jose (Pepe) Francisco Suris (1943-2018), beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 3.

To celebrate his life are his loving wife of 43 years, Hilda, his children Patsy (John) Cook, Ernie (Sylvia) Fernandez, Martica Suris, Lourdes Suris, Tessie (Carlos) Romero, Natasha Wiley, Jennifer (Casey) Wells.

Pepe’s legacy includes eight grandchildren: Christopher, Carlitos, Monica, Jonathan, Rebecca, Erika, Jules, and Cameron; two great grandchildren Lisabel and Emilio Jose, a sister, Tessie (Jerry) Bond, three nephews and many, many friends.

Pepe was an active and dedicated member of Saint Louis Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and was the leader of Humanities Ministry. Pepe loved his family, enjoyed traveling, and cherished special friends.

A celebration of Pepe’s life will be held at a Mass, Wednesday, March 7, at 6p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Paul officiating. A viewing will take place on Tuesday evening, March 6 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Stanfill Funeral Home.
