Jonathan Pfleger

Jonathan Arnold Pfleger, age 19 of Coconut Grove, FL passed away
on June 18, 2021. He was born on December 13, 2001 in South
Florida and left us much too early.
Jonathan lit up every room he entered with his huge heart and
incredible smile. He adored his mother Jennifer, his father Jim, and
cherished his younger brother, James. They loved him dearly.
Jonathan was a warm and kindhearted person. He cared deeply for his large family, many
friends and his boyfriend, Reese. They will forever remember his uninhibited spirit, quick
wit, and compassion.
A charismatic and creative soul, Jonathan always had an innate sense of style and pursued
a variety of artistic endeavors, including theatre, fashion and design. Jonathan was
looking forward to attending Savannah College of Art & Design in the Fall.
The world has lost a little of its sparkle and we will never forget the joy he brought us all.
On his most recent birthday, Jonathan selflessly requested no gifts. Instead, he organized
and assembled care packages which he delivered to the homeless. Following his lead, in
lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to The Trevor Project, the leading
national organization providing crisis intervention services to LGBTQ+ youth or NAMI, the
National Alliance on Mental Illness. Services will be held privately.
