John Joseph Marlowe

John Joseph Marlow was born on Long Island, N.Y. in 1951 and passed away 5/24/2021. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, son Sean (Angela) and a large extended family of grandchildren and stepchildren. John joined the Army in 1968 and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division; in 1970 he transferred to the 101stAirborne Division. John was deployed to Vietnam in 1970 where he spent the next year in the 2nd of the 501st Infantry. He was a proud Paratrooper and was active in Paratrooper Veteran organizations. John also served in the Navy and was a Reserve Deputy in Monroe County, a volunteer in the V.A. Key Largo Clinic, and a Firefighter and First Responder in Monroe County. John will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and patriotism. Visitation will be June 10, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Stanfill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at South Florida National VA Cemetery, 6501 SR 7 Lake Worth FL 33467.
