FUECHSEL, John, of Cutler Bay Born in Wilmington, NC on May 1, 1952 passed away on August 28, 2017.
John graduated from Annandale High School as Valedictorian in 1970. He then attended Duke University where he earned a degree in Marine Biology. Later, he earned a second B.S. degree from Florida International University in Computer Science. He enjoyed a challenging and fulfilling IT career with FP&L for almost 40 years, currently as a network engineer.
John was well known for his kind and generous spirit. He was a supportive husband, loving father and proud devoted grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Paula Stimpson Fuechsel, his mother, Marion and his loyal companion, Snuggles.
He is survived by his loving children, Kelly and John Nicholas Fuechsel (Ashley); father, John Charles Fuechsel (Ricki); brother, James Lee Fuechsel (Lynn); sister-in-law, Pamela Stimpson Aveling (Arthur); granddaughters, Haleigh Claire Potter, Eloise Indigo Fuechsel and Madeline Sky Fuechsel as well as many extended family members and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, 9/1/17 at 6:30pm at Stanfill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Little Nuggets Pet Rescue (littlenuggetsrescue.com) in John’s memory.
