Joan Frymark Evans

Evans, Joan Frymark, 96, Miami resident since 1946, passed away suddenly on May 31. She was born in
Oak Park, Ill, and attended Radcliffe College. After one year, she longed for the warm Miami climate and
transferred to the University of Miami where she graduated with a degree in journalism in 1948. She
was a loving, devoted wife, nurturing mother, successful copy editor and real estate agent. She was
predeceased by her husband, Lee, to whom she was married to over 30 years and son, Daniel. She is
survived by her children, Mark (Bethza), David (Ann), Eric (Laura) and Kathleen (John Hoctor), eleven
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A visitation will be Thursday, June 9 at Stanfill Funeral
