Henry Angelo Jr. (1929 – 2023) Surrounded by loved ones, Henry was called to eternal rest on January 17, 2023. Born in Middleton, New York Henry was a resident of Miami since 1939. Henry was the son of Henry Angelo Sr. and Mary Eurich. He served in the U.S. Army. Together with his father Henry Angelo Sr. & brother Edward Angelo, started a commercial painting company Henry Angelo & Sons, Inc., which evolved into a general contracting firm H. Angelo & Company and then H.A. Contracting Corporation. Henry was predeceased by Eugenia Angelo his wife of 45 years and his siblings James Angleton, Edward Angelo Sr. & Anna Polan. Henry is survived by his wife of 20 years Marion Lennon Angelo, his two sons and daughter Henry Angelo III and wife Fay Angelo, Mary Angelo Ceavers and husband James Ceavers and Nicholas Angelo and wife Mary Z. Angelo; seven grandchildren James R. Ceavers (wife Kelsey), Nicholas Ceavers (wife Olivia), Jason Ceavers, Henry Angelo IV (wife Francesca), Victor Angelo (wife Daniela), Nicole Himes (husband Joe) and Nicholas C. Angelo; and four great grandchildren Sophia, Theodore and Nicholas W. Ceavers and Ava Angelo and would have been blessed this year with two more great grandchildren. Henry was the patriarch of the family and respected by his friends and community. He was a member of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church and was knighted to the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle, Archons of the Ecunenical Patriarchate. He enjoyed playing cards, grouper fishing with his family and a good cigar from time to time. In recent days “Papou” reflected on his life with his grandchildren who were mesmerized by his reminiscence of his lifetime of experiences – now an experience they too will always remember. A private service will be held by the family. Memorials can be made to St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Henry’s honor.
