Gail G. Mase
March 16, 1942 ~ August 28, 2022 (age 80) 80 Years Old
12 Flowers or Condolences have been shared with support of Gail's family - View on Tribute Wall
Gail went to be with the Lord peacefully on August 28, 2022 surrounded by family. She valiantly struggled with numerous medical conditions over the years. Most notably, March 2021 she was placed in hospice care. Miraculously, she improved and by December of 2021 she was released from hospice back to her normal routine treatments. We celebrated the additional time we were able to share with her prior to her passing.
Gail and Ken have been married for 59+ years, both long-time residents of Coral Gables, moving here in 1969. Over the term of their marriage, they have lived in: Jacksonville, Key West, Dallas, Greenwich CT, Denver, and Louisville. She was a successful Real Estate Broker with sales in Florida and Kentucky. She attended the University of Denver and the University of Louisville. She was a registered cosmetologist, and flight attendant for National Airlines. She was an active member of Coral Gables Garden Club for 20 years.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin and Jeff and their wives Sandra and Staci ~ her five grandchildren: Kara, Lindsay, Andrea, Kate and Luke. In addition she has two sisters Lona Liosatos and Martha Shannon. Her only brother, Reice Gatton preceded her in death.
Her family has been a center part of her life. She has rooted a stong faith in Christ as a guiding principal for her family. To that end, she has been an active member in a church in each city where she has lived. Her membership in Wayside Baptist dated back to 1964.
Gail’s spiritual gift was to share her faith with everyone she came into contact with. She used her outgoing personality and warm smile to engage people in conversation about their faith. Her hope is for all to experience God’s love and forgiveness and deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
