Francis Edward O'Dowd

O'DOWD, Frank, 86, of Coral Gables, Fl passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. Son of William and Katharine O’Dowd of Coral Gables, Florida, Frank, a successful Insurance Agent and avid golfer, grew up in south Florida, having attended St. Theresa School all the way through high school in the 1950’s. He was proud of his service in the U.S. Army, his work and his friends but was most proud of his family. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne, his parents, and by five sisters and one brother. He is survived by his sons Frank Jr. (Rosemary), Mark (Andrea) and Tim O'Dowd, as well as his grandchildren, Frank III, Christine, Alexandra, Matthew, Katherine and Lauren. Frank is also survived by his brother, James O’Dowd, and sister, Katharine Gregory. Frank was a loving husband, father, and Grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, November 9th, from 6-8 pm at Stanfill Funeral Home. A Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 10th at 11 am at Church of the Little Flower (St.Theresa), 2711 Indian Mound Trail, Coral Gables, FL. Interment will be following the Funeral Mass at 1PM at Woodlawn Cemetery.
