Frances Louise Wilson

Frances Louise Wilson age 105 Miami-Dade teacher died on March 11, 2018. Frances was born in Bedford, Indiana, coming to Miami with her parents in 1918. She had her schooling Miami from Kindergarten through the University of Miami, receiving her masters from Duke University.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Wilson and Nancy "Nannie" Day Wilson.

She taught at Santa Clara Elementary and was librarian at Riverside Elementary and West Laboratory Elementary. She retired with 43 years of service.

She was a member of University Christian Church, Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, served on the Board of the South Dade School Employees Federal Credit Union and her Condominium Board.

Graveside service will be on Tuesday, March 20th at 1:30pm at Woodlawn Park Cemetery, 3260 SW 8th Street.
