FLORENCE S. PFAFF
2/19/27 – 10/20/17

Florence Pfaff (nee Schultz) was born February 19, 1927 in New York, the daughter of Frank and Theresa Schultz, big sister to Edith Bergquist and Howard Schultz, all of whom predecease her. She was raised in Great Neck, N.Y. and married Russell Pfaff in June 1948. While Russell pursued a successful career with Mobil Oil Corporation and Ryder System, Inc., “Flo” focused on raising her family and managing the home. After New York, the family lived in California and Illinois before settling in Miami in 1981.

Florence is survived by sons David and Bruce; grandchildren Liza, Samuel, Sara, Sydney and Lauren; and great-grandchildren Leo, Oscar, Parker and Brooke. Her husband, Russell, and son Peter predeceased her.

She was a dog lover and great player of racquet sports. She was a good friend to many, including her tennis pals, neighbors and confidants. She will be remembered fondly by all who loved her.

Memorial Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, 10/24 at Stanfill Funeral Home.
