Evdokimos Papadopoulos

In loving memory of Evdokimos Papadopoulos who was born on August 18th , 1933 on the beautiful island of Chios, Greece. It is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye on December 9th to our Amazing Father, Loving Father- In-Law, World’s Best Papou , Proud Godfather and Dearest Friend. He lived with his daughter, Olimpia, his son-in-law, Alex, and his granddaughters, Alexis and Alyssa (and Bam Bam and Pebbles) for many wonderful years full of an abundance of love, laughter and cherished memories. . He is also survived by his daughter, Anna and his grandsons Michael , James , John , Makis and Louis and his great grandsons Michael and Oliver and so many other wonderful family and friends. Though we can no longer see him, we know that he will always be with us and will remain in our hearts forever. He is a light anywhere and everywhere he goes and we know that in heaven God and all of our family and friends are waiting for him with open and loving arms. No words can describe how much we already truly miss him and how much we will miss all his stories, megala filakia, , impromtu dancing and that he never let a day go by without telling us that he loved us. He truly was a very special man who accomplished so many wonderful things in his life, yet the things he cherished the most were his family and his friends. We wanted to share what his godson, Nick said about his godfather: “What a truly amazing man. I strive every day to impact as many lives as he did. I know he's up there with all the good ones looking down on us. “   We have spoken with so many people over the past few days who have not only shared some of their special memories of him but also thanked him for helping them to be better people because of the strong impact he had on their lives and we for sure know that to be true for ourselves as well. He will ALWAYS be our Hero!
