Mama Sue you are missed in the presence, but will be forever in our hearts. Watch over your girls and keep them safe.

Eulogy: By Richard Buck Buchanan

Death of a loved one changes everything. There are those that say time heals everything ! But time keeps moving.
Time can not replace that piece of your heart that is now missing and broken. Time will let you grieve and there is no time limit on grief.
What time gives is remembering and accepting the loss, to be able to move forward.
Lord give us the strength to carry on with our lives while learning to deal with our loss.

Lets celebrate Sue's life with family and friends here today. Tell the stories of Sues life. This will keep her in our presences, and she will live forever in our stories and always be a part of us. Now and each time we speak of her.

Dorthy Sue Alexander ( Bowers)
Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Nana. Mama Sue to me.
Sue had lots of names and wore many hats in her life.
A daughter who loved her parents and respected them as they did her.
Then she is a Sister to 11 siblings. In the pack she the older sister to 7 and the younger to 4. As all sibling's do, there are the up's and down's and those silly fights. Through it all she became the needle that threaded you together. Family was life. She love's you all with all her heart, Then, Now, and Forever.
Sue was a Wife, a Nurse a Single Mom, Mentor, and friend, All hats she wore to name a few.
But the name's and hat's she held dearest are Mom to her girls and Nana to her grandchildren.
Sue was that Mom Strong with the touch of an angel, Fierce as a lion protection her girls. The Mom that went all out with whatever she had to provide the best Birthday parties and family gatherings. For Christmas she was the first one up with the tree and the last one down. Always an open door for family and friends. She could whoop it up and fun times for the 4 of July, Memorial Day, and Labor day at the beach. Or just staying around the house , she was the fun Mom.

Pam: Her eldest, You have her Strength, Leadership and love of Family. Your Mom has given you the needle to keep us threaded together. She loves you for the Women your and proud of all your accomplishments. You are loved.

Karen: The middle one, A free spirit a bit wild, taking your own path to follow. She loves you for the journey you have taken and the freedom you represent. She is now where she can watch over your path for all the days to come. She loves you for the person you are.

Tonya: The youngest, You have her stubbornness and all of her emotions. the good the bad and all the others. The two of you have a special bond. One that is just between the two of you. She is proud of the Mother and Women you are. She loves you and will be with you by your side now as she has been and now forever.

To her Grandchildren, Michelle, Zachary, Jacob, Matthew, and Zaden.
May you have the courage to follow your dreams and stand for you beliefs.
Nana's time has come to leave this earth. She has blessed you with the certainty that her love for you is forever and always. She is always close, for all you have to do is shut your eyes, think of her and her strength and love will be with you.

Sue is my Mother-in law, I'm lucky for I didn't get a Mother-in law. I got my second Mom, Mama Sue.
I will miss your voice, your wisdom and touch.
I and we cry today !! Not for Sue but for what we have lost. A friend. For all the other hats she wore, she was always our friend.

I will not say good by, but only to say until I see you again. LOVE YOU.

For when my chores hear are done I too will see you one the other side.
My heart is broken and I will miss your presences. You will be in my heart always and forever. Until we meet again I love you.
