Delma K. Reed

Reed, Delma “Kathy” (85 years old)
longtime resident of Miami, passed away to be with our Lord on December 5, 2018. Born in Preston, Mississippi, Kathy relocated to Miami with her family in 1945 and graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1953. She worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company as a supervisor for 30 years and retired in 1994. Kathy was predeceased by her husband Raymond Reed to whom she was married for 53 years. She is survived by her sister Gloria Reed, her children Walt Reed and wife Rita, Cathy Garwood and her husband Marvin II, Tim Reed and his wife Tina, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m., December 21, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 10700 SW 56 Street, Miami, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church’s Kathy Reed fund.
