Clare Craig Scott, 90, went home to be with her family & friends in Heaven on December 29, 2020.  She was born to James and Mary Craig on January 11, 1930 at the family home in Moosic Pennsylvania (near Scranton).  She was the youngest of 4.  After graduation from Moosic High School, she worked as a telephone operator for American Telephone & Telegraph (ATT). Some years later she met Joseph J. Scott of Dunmore PA (near Scranton). Three years later they married and moved to Brooklyn, New York.  In 1962 they moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. There she was a devoted stay at home mother and wife to their 2 children Joseph and Mary.  In 1977 they moved to Miami Florida where she worked for the Miami Dade Water and Sewer Authority until her retirement.

She was a very cheerful and caring person, who enjoyed times with family and friends. She was always happy to meet new people. She had a talent for art such as painting and ceramics. She enjoyed traveling and had visited most of the United States. One of her most memorable trips was a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. She also enjoyed many cruises to the Caribbean, and one in the Mediterranean. However her frequent trips back to North Carolina and Pennsylvania to visit family were special to her.  She was a faith filled lady, a devoted lifelong Catholic and a member of St Louis Catholic Church since 1978. At church, she was a member of the Ladies Prayer Muffin Group, the Engaged Encounter Ministry, as well as the Eucharistic Ministry.
