Cheryl C. Olen

Cheri Olen passed away peacefully on December 7, 2018.  She is survived by her husband Randy of 44 years, high school sweethearts born and raised in Beloit, Wisconsin; her mother Pat of Beloit; sister Teri and her family of Beloit; her two sons and their families; Zach, Melissa, Brooke (11) and Wyatt (8); Dane and Malinda and of course Cheri and Randy’s labradoodle puppy Lakely.  Cheri will be missed more than words can ever explain and will always be loved and cherished for the amazing wife, mama, nana, daughter, sister and friend that she was.  Her faith in God and love for her family now echoes in all eternity.  Throughout her life she has given so much and asked for so little in return.  All of us who were lucky enough to know her are better people for having her in our lives.  The thoughts and prayers she and her family received have been unfathomable and show what kind of person she was and the life that she lived.  Her wish for her family and friends is for smiling faces without tears or sadness; to remember all the fun times shared and memories made with her; and to continue the fun times and make new memories with her in our hearts.  Although in her usual selfless attitude she would say “Don’t worry about me, we can celebrate some other time,” we will absolutely be celebrating her life to the fullest at Biscayne Bay Yacht Club, February 16, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Cheri Olen to The Miami Cancer Institute- Pancreatic Cancer research, 6855 Red Road, Coral Gables, Fl 33143.
