Charles Anthony Radi Sr.

Charles Anthony Radi of Miami, FL passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the age of 51. A fourth-generation Miamian, Charles grew up in the community of Cutler Ridge. He attended Bel Aire Elementary and Cutler Ridge Middle School where he was active in Cub Scouts and youth sports including the Perrine Khoury League. He was a star student athlete at Miami Southridge Senior High School where he was a key player on state championship teams in baseball, wrestling and football and on into college ball before graduating Columbia University in 1989. Charles led a successful career that spanned nearly 30 years as a highly sought after authority in computer and network security. While he enjoyed many athletic, academic and career achievements, his proudest and happiest of all moments were the times spent with family.
Charles was loved and will be remembered for his fun-loving, jovial and spirited personality. His amusing and quick-witted sense of humor was the life of the party. He was the star of the show. He is survived by his father Gabe Radi, his sisters Heather (Mark) Bermudez, Michele (Bob) Vicente and Shawnee (John) McFadden, and -- his greatest legacy -- his children Charles Anthony Radi, Jr. (CJ), Kristin, Zachary and Courtney. He is also survived by his children’s mother, Valerie Radi, who was his wife for 23 years; as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and many, many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Jackie Radi.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church for a 2-3pm visitation followed by a 3pm funeral service.
