Carole Virginia Pohl

Carole Pohl, 93, longtime resident of Miami, passed peacefully on 1/16/2022. She worked at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church for 25 years. She was an active member of South Miami Lutheran Church for 59 years. Carole's family was her life. She is survived by her son, Larry Pohl and wife, Jenny, grandchildren, Tyler Pohl (Kelsey), Lauren Hicks (Michael), great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Caroline, daughter, Cindy Kovacs, granddaughter, Nichole Bannister (Andrew) and son, Jerry Pohl and wife Mary, grandchildren, Brittany Pohl, Danielle Wilhelmsen (David), Michele Glenn and great-granddaughter, Taylin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Pohl. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate or Make a Wish Foundation at wish.org.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for Carole on Sunday, January 23 at 2pm at South Miami Lutheran Church located at 7190 Sunset Drive, Miami, FL.
