Our beloved Barbara passed away on August 6, 2020 after a long, courageous and well fought battle with Breast Cancer.
Barbara was born in the Bronx, New York on September 21, 1956 and moved with her family to Miami in the late Sixties. She was a graduate of Miami Palmetto Senior High School and throughout her life worked in Banking and enjoyed working with children with disabilities.
She enjoyed her family, photography, to travel, to laugh and to have an occasional political debate while her smile would light up the room. Barbara was a longtime member of Holy Rosary – St. Richard Catholic Church.
Barbara is survived by her devoted father Luis Cintron, sisters Deanna Santana and Cissy (Mark) Schofield, brother Lee Cintron, nephews and nieces Joseph Santana, Robert Santana, Tianna Welnicki, Alaysia Domenech and so many loving and caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be sorely missed by her little fur babies Roxy, Max and Chiweenie.
She was preceded in death by her loving Mother Myrna Cintron, paternal grandparents Gregory Cintron Jr and Gloria Diaz, maternal grandparents Pablo Lopez Gallardo and Luz Lopez and brother-in-law Mark Santana.
There will be a Memorial Service at 1pm on Saturday August 22,2020 at Holy Rosary – St. Richard Catholic Church 7500 SW 152 St Palmetto Bay, Fl. For those that cannot attend we are attempting to set-up a live streaming or recording of the service. For more information you may contact Cissy at 305-804-8062.
Due to CDC concerns and restrictions we will be planning to gather for a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Father we entrust our sister to your mercy.
You loved her greatly in this life: now that She is freed from all its cares, give her Happiness and peace forever.
Welcome her now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more Weeping or pain, but only peace and joy With Jesus your son, and the Holy Spirit For ever and ever.
