Ann Sharon Krimm O'Dowd

Ann Sharon (Krimm) O’Dowd, 85, passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2022 in Altamonte Springs, Florida surrounded by her family. Sharon was born January 24, 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles B. and Anna L. (Schaidt) Krimm. She married William H. O’Dowd III on December 2, 1967, who preceded her in death on February 10, 2008. Sharon was a homemaker for many years, caring for her 3 sons – Scott, Bill and Mike. After all of her boys went off to college, Sharon did too. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University in 1994 and attended law school at the University of Florida, before deciding to return home and earn a paralegal certificate. Sharon worked for Holland & Knight LLP for over 20 years as a paralegal and was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by sons Donald S. (Linda) Mock of Gillespie IL, William H. O’Dowd IV of Coral Gables, FL, and Michael S. (Haylee) O’Dowd of Altamonte Springs, FL, along with grandchildren Hannah Mock, Richard Mock, Ashley O’Dowd, and Matthew O’Dowd, and brother Lee Krimm of West Hills, California and sister Nancy Gales of Edmond, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael.
A visitation will be held on Friday September 2, 2022 from 6-8pm at the Stanfill Funeral Home located at 10545 S. Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL 33156. She will be laid to rest at 11:00 am on Saturday September 3, 2022 at the Woodlawn Park North Cemetery, Miami FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association in Sharon’s memory.
