William H. Hearne Jr.

November 6, 1937 ~ May 10, 2017 (age 79) 79 Years Old
William H. Hearne, Jr., 79, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Hearne was born in Massachusetts Nov. 6, 1937 to William H. and Lillian Trepanier Hearne. Bill graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1954, Merrimac College in 1958, and served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1962. He married Peggy Clarke in 1959, and they have called Miami home since 1961.
Bill was a generous person always trying to take care of those around him, especially those less blessed. He gave his time tirelessly to the causes that meant the most to him, such as Little Brothers, the Florida Ombudsman program, Take Stock in Children, and numerous other charitable organizations. He took the time to reach out to everyone he met, getting to know them personally, even the cashier at the grocery store. He offered his friendship generously and without conditions, and that friendship will forever be described as an amazing and special gift to all those fortunate enough to know him.
Bill is the former President, Director, and Lifetime Member of ACA International, and retired from BCA Financial Services.
Bill was pre-deceased by his parents; his sister Elizabeth Dahlquist and her husband, Edward Dahlquist. He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years Margaret (Peggy) Hearne; his children Kathleen (Bruce) Kinggard, Cynthia (David) Darley, Patricia (Tom) Tole, and William M. (Krystal) Hearne; his grandchildren Danielle, David, Christine (Daniel), Liam, and Evan; nephews Steve (Cathy) Dahlquist, James (Larissa) Dahlquist; niece Judith Dahlquist (Jim); and Jared, Michelle, and Finley Kinggard.

The funeral mass will be at St. Louis Catholic Church in Pinecrest on Tuesday, May 16th at 10:00 am with burial to follow.
