Monge, Washington age 84 passed away in his home in Miami, Florida on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Gloria Sorzano Monge, his son Alfonso Monge, two daughters Gloria Monge Weismiller and Mariana Monge, 6 grandchildren Owen, Maya, Carlos, Lucas, Mattias, and Emmitt.  

Born in Quito, Ecuador he forged his way to the USA with an academic scholarship to study at Georgetown University.  He then met his beautiful wife, raised 3 children, and enjoyed his grandchildren immensely. A lover of singing, dancing and soccer, he will be missed.

A memorial gathering will take place from 4pm-5pm with a service to follow on Friday, April 21 at Stanfill Funeral Home 10545 South Dixie Highway Miami, Florida 33156
