Samuel Paul Jones, Jr., 69, Miami FL. -- Retired Fire Captain Samuel Paul Jones Jr., died peacefully Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 of natural causes.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen (Kiernan), his daughters Corie and Nicole, and his granddaughter and light of his life, Simone.
Samuel served in the U.S. Army and fought for his country in the Vietnam War. He spent the remainder of his career with the Miami-Dade Fire Department, from which he retired in 2002.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a service beginning at 6pm at Stanfill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
