I am so sorry for your loss...I feel as though I've lost her too! All the years that I've had a chance to get to know her, is what comforts me during this time. And although I didn't have a chance to say 'goodbye' to her or attend her services, she's still a part of me and those that knew her also. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

Though I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, Gus, from knowing you I appreciate that you have not only lost your Mom but also your dearest friend. I'm sure she will continue to keep a close watch over her children.
