REITENBACH, Charles John, 53, passed away July 22, 2017. A Miami resident for 50 years, “Charlie,” as all knew him, was born in Chicago, IL March 11, 1964. A graduate of Miami Palmetto Senior High School, he went on to play tennis for Miami-Dade College and continued his education, achieving a B.S. degree in marketing from Florida State University. Charlie went on to work in sales and marketing for Discovery and Carnival Cruise Lines for the next 20 years. Following that, Charlie made a career change working in commercial landscape management before returning to work in sales and marketing. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Reitenbach. He is survived by his mother, Nancy; children, Charles “CJ” and Madison; stepson, Race and their mother Liza Siscot; sister, Colette (Dana) Pearson; brother, John (Laura) Reitenbach; and nephew and niece, Nick and Kelly Pearson. Everyone who knew Charlie will immediately remember him for his wit and charm. His cheerful smile and humorous disposition was how he greeted everyone. A memorial service will be held this Sunday, July 30th at 4PM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 11295 SW 57th Ave., Pinecrest, FL 33156.
