LIVINGSTONE, BONNIE LEE
Bonnie passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018. Originally from Roanoke, VA she met her devoted husband of 58 years, Dr. Antony Livingstone, while attending the Medical College of Virginia and earning her nursing degree. They married and made their home in South Miami, where they raised five children, Leslie (Bill) Barry, Marcia Mulvey, Sharon Livingstone, Andrew (Monica) Livingstone and nephew Tim Cook, who they helped raise with her brother, Albert Cook. She worked as a registered nurse at South Miami Hospital for 25 years and was active in the community and her church parish. Known lovingly as “Mimi” she took great pride in her eight grandchildren, Mark (Chelsea) Barry, Stephanie Barry, Tony Mulvey, Emily Mulvey, Alexandra Livingstone, Sofia Livingstone, Andrew Livingstone, and MaryAlice Livingstone. Bonnie was adored by her family and friends for her Southern charm and hospitality, her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. The family will receive friends February 1st from 5-7pm at Stanfill Funeral Home. There will also be a funeral mass February 2nd at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 7377 SW 64th St, South Miami, FL 33143. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and especially the “Visiting Angels” for the exceptional care they provided “Miss Bonnie” over the past year.
