Alice Marie Bliss, (age 100 ½), longtime resident of Miami, FL, passed away on 11/22/17. Born May 12, 1917 in South Bend, IN. She worked at the University of Miami for 16 years. In addition, she was a lifetime devout Catholic and loyal to the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Preceded in death by her darling husband, John Bliss to whom she was married for 32 years, and her angelic daughters, Marcia Bliss and Kathleen Regato. Survived by her loving daughters, Joan Randolph (Garry), Nancy Springer, Cynthia Wyrick (Mike), and Mary Lou Griswold; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and dear family in South Bend. May our Lord welcome her to Heaven with open arms. She will always be remembered with beautiful thoughts and we will miss her dearly. Visitation from 6-8 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 16000 SW 112 Avenue, Miami, FL 33157, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Park South.
