Stanfill Funeral Home has been an important and significant part of our community since 1956. The funeral home was established by W. L. Philbrick with Steve L. Stanfill, Jr. as manager. Through Steve Stanfill's years of hard work and commitment, Philbrick Funeral Home became Philbrick-Stanfill Funeral Home and then Stanfill Funeral Home. Stanfill Funeral Home soon became synonymous with quality and caring service.
Following the death of Steve L. Stanfill, Jr. in 2002, per his request, the funeral home continued under the ownership of his long-term funeral directors and his son.
In a time when corporate buy-outs are all too common in the funeral industry, Mr. Stanfill truly felt a commitment not only to his staff but to the entire community he so unselfishly served.
He believed that the personal and professional care offered by Stanfill Funeral Home could only be maintained in the environment of a privately owned funeral home.
